The Cost

Email Don Payne at cigarpirate@triad.rr.com to let me know that you want to attend. Of course, in true ASC spirit, this is a non-profit operation. I figure the cost will run $125 per attendee. Could be a little more or less depending on how well I can mooch, but don't expect a big swing or surprise. The cost includes cigars, bus, cigars, lunch, cigars, doorprizes, cigars, dinner, cigars, drinks, cigars . . . well you get the idea.J  I'm not in this to make a penny, I just don't want to lose my shirt. To make your reservation you'll need to send in a $50 deposit.  First come – first served.

Deposits are overdue and crawl balances are due by 7/31/2001.

Only A Few Seats Remain!

We are keeping a waiting list for those that want to attend – usually some space opens up closer to the event – plans change – email me for more information.

Hotel Info

The official crawl hotel is once again the Days Inn in Thomasville, NC. I hope to get the same group rate is $45 per night/ per room (not per person) Availability is good. Right now there's plenty of room. Later this week you can call the Days Inn Mon-Fri 7am to 3pm. The phone number is 336-472-6600. This is very important: Tell her that you are with the Carolina Cigar Crawl group or the Cigar Club, that's the only way we get the discount.

You're not going to be there much anyway - except to sleep!:-)

Bourbon & Blues III

It’s not so much an event as it is an attitude! J  Everyone brings and shares their favorite drink – small batch bourbon, single malt scotch, port, etc. and their favorite Blues CD’s – more later.

Pre- & Post-Crawl Activities

Based on all my crawl experience, I'd recommend that, if possible, you attend the Pre and Post Crawl activities. Pre-crawl will consist of dinner at my club and golf for those interested who can arrive early enough. As of now I'm thinking about noon tee times for the second Chaz Lanski Golf Tournament (green fees with cart is $45 – you pay at the clubhouse) – Details on the Golf Tournament will be posted the last week of July – Practice – Practice – Practice . The course is in great shape and is now recognized as one of the best in our area. As far as dinner, the cost will be only for your meal and whatever drink deal I arrange. Figure on about $25 for that. It will be a buffet (Hamburger, Hot Dog and Grilled Chicken Breast) in the Men’s Card Room at the club.  Bring your own favorite cigars.  Pre-crawl payment is due by 7/30/2001.

The post-crawl party will be BBQ from Lexington, NC at my house and pool on Sunday. It's a great way to wrap up the weekend, setting by the pool, enjoying good cigars and company. Food and drinks provided for a nominal cost of $15.  Post-crawl payment is due by 7/30/2001.

You may consider arriving early and staying late!

If you're gonna crawl at all, crawl it all!
