9:30 AM First Stop -. Tobacco USA, Greensboro, NC
11:15 Second Stop - Lunch & Cigars at Greensboro Wine Warehouse. Wine and port tasting too. Cigar distributors will be offering cigar samples and doorprizes.
2:30 PM JR Cigars Statesville, NC. If you've never been you just can't understand until you're there. You never forget you first time . . .at JR Cigars. :-) When the tour is over you can spend the next hour or so shopping and smoking, believe me, time flies in that place. I know we'll have to drag a few people out and force them to get back on the bus! But it'll be worth it, because .
6:30 PM Colonial Country Club, Thomasville, NC. A fine dinning, cigar-friendly(like we'd go anywhere else!) establishment, site of last year's highly enjoyable pre-crawl dinner. Don't pass up the chance for an excellent cut of beef, just ask the guys that were here last year. We'll have about 4 hours of open bar then the bus will safely deposit you back at the hotel. We will, of course, have "special" cigars, doorprizes, a cigar exchange and a cigar raffle during dinner. This would also be an excellent time to work out trades with your fellow cybersmokers.
10:30 PM Sadly we must board the bus for the short 5 minute trip to the hotel.
10:45 PM For those still willing and able to herf one last cigar, my deck and pool are available and located nearby.

I figure the cost will run $125 per attendee. Could be a little more or less depending on how well I can mooch, but don't expect a big swing or surprise. The cost includes cigars, bus, cigars, lunch, cigars, doorprizes, cigars, dinner, cigars, drinks, cigars . . . well you get the idea. :-) I'm not in this to make a penny, I just don't want to lose my shirt.
*** DEPOSIT DEADLINE HAS PASSED - THE BUS IS FULL**
Email Don Payne to be put on the waiting list.
The official crawl hotel is once again the Days Inn in Thomasville, NC. The Group Rate is $45 per night/ per room (not per person) Availabity is good. Right now they're holding 25 rooms for us. Call Amy at the days in Mon-Fri 7am to 3pm. Her phone number is 336-472-6600. This is very important: Tell her that you are with the Carolina Cigar Crawl group, that's the only way we get the discount. You'll also need to tell her what nights you will be staying. Come early and stay late because we got . . . .
Based on all my crawl experience, I'd recommend that, if possible, you attend the Pre and Post Crawl activities. Pre-crawl will consist of dinner at my club (working on the details, more later) and golf for those interested who can arrive early enough as of now I'm thinking about 1PM tee times (green fees with cart is $35). The cost will be only for your dinner and whatever drink deal I arrange. Figure on about $20 for that. Bring your own favorite cigars. The post-crawl party will be BBQ from Lexington, NC at my house and pool on Sunday. It's a great way to wrap up the week-end, setting by the pool, enjoying good cigars and company. Food and drinks provided for a nominal cost(think $15). Now that the list of attendees has been determined, more details to follow soon.
You may consider arriving early and staying late!
If you're gonna crawl at all, crawl it all!
