Tentative Order - Subject To Change
9:30AM --- Tobacco USA: Hope we can pull a few stings again and get some more good smokes. Last year we had Opus, Don Carlos and more Private Stock than I've seen anywhere.
10:30AM -- The Pipe & Pint: A new stop this year. Nice selection of cigars and a friendly atmosphere. They also have craft beers and homebrewing supplies.
11:30AM -- GSO Wine Warehouse: Always a popular place to stop for a few singles and great wines, ports and imports. Our third year here. One again Jeff will host our lunch.
2:00PM -- Tobacconist Of Raleigh: A sponsor from last year and popular spot with the locals.
4:00PM -- JR Cigar in Burlington - www.jrcigars.com: We'll visit the newest JR store this year. We'll also say hi to the world's largest humidor - the 120,000 sq. ft humidified space that holds over 100 million cigars at last count. We're trying to get Lew to stop by like he did the first year - but he's a busy man and we'll have fun regardless.
6:30PM -- Dinner: The Painted Plate in Greensboro, NC - Big Food Buffet, Drinks and Door Prizes
Afterward - For those still willing and able to herf one last cigar, my deck and pool are available and located nearby.

I figure the cost will run $125 per attendee. Could be a little more or less depending on how well I can mooch, but don't expect a big swing or surprise. The cost includes cigars, bus, cigars, lunch, cigars, doorprizes, cigars, dinner, cigars, drinks, cigars . . . well you get the idea. :-) I'm not in this to make a penny, I just don't want to lose my shirt. To make your reservation you'll need to send in a $50 deposit.
CRAWL BALANCES ARE DUE BY 7/15/99

The official crawl hotel is once again the Days Inn in Thomasville, NC. The Group Rate is $45 per night/ per room (not per person) Availability is good. Right now there's plenty of room. Starting Monday 6/21 you can call Amy at the Days Inn Mon-Fri 7am to 3pm. Her phone number is 336-472-6600. This is very important: Tell her that you are with the Carolina Cigar Crawl group, that's the only way we get the discount. You'll also need to tell her what nights you will be staying. Come early and stay late because we got . . . .
Based on all my crawl experience, I'd recommend that, if possible, you attend the Pre and Post Crawl activities. Pre-crawl will consist of dinner at my club and golf for those interested who can arrive early enough. As of now I'm thinking about noon tee times for the Chaz Lanski Golf Tournament (green fees with cart is $35). The course is in great shape and is now recognized as some of the best in our area. As far as dinner, the cost will be only for your meal and whatever drink deal I arrange. Figure on about $40 for that. It will be a buffet (Prime Rib, Beef Tenderloin and Seafood Newberg - more than likely) - I've seen most of these guys eat. :-) Bring your own favorite cigars.
The post-crawl party will be BBQ from Lexington, NC at my house and pool on Sunday. It's a great way to wrap up the week-end, setting by the pool, enjoying good cigars and company. Food and drinks provided for a nominal cost(think $10-$15).
You may consider arriving early and staying late!
If you're gonna crawl at all, crawl it all!
