Welcome to the ICG California Cigar Smoker's "Regional Listings"!

 California is known to have some of the most restrictive anti-smoking laws.. and even then, the few establishments that permit or ignore cigarette smoking, forbid cigars and pipes. Even in the face of such blatant and unjust discrimination, there are a few fine "cigar friendly" places that you can enjoy relaxing with a good stogie.    Please note: The new 1998 anti-smoking law effectively banned all smoking in public places. The only solutions to this legislative menace appear to be in the form of making all "smoke friendly" locations (technically) "private", such as the "Members Only" venues in states with "Blue Laws" on liquor consumption.    Another solution is making the establishments "owner operated". Businesses without "employees" are exempt from the new law. The last solution is to make an establishment a "cigar shop". These establishements also appear to be exempt from the new law.   It is unfortunate that we have to resort to speakeasies in the 1990's as our freedoms are whittled away by our elected officials.
Through these local cigar pages, we will keep you posted as to where you will be able to continue to enjoy your cigars without fear of reprisal from "THE SMOKE POLICE".
