Al Capone's Hideaway & Steakhouse
This steak house is an authentic 1920's Speakeasy owned and controlled by Al Capone in the twenties., and has been highly rated. If you stop by on Friday or Saturday, the whole second floor is open for smoking. Enjoy your favorite cigar (have you tried their "Speakeasy" line of cigars yet?) while listening to the live jazz band. When you've found that you've stayed there longer than you anticipated and you're out of cigars, don't worry! Just stop by their Speakeasy smoke shop, featuring 110 lines of cigars plus their own line. Everyone is friendly, and you'll love being part of some real Chicago history!

Were you at the October 13th smoker? If not, you missed an event featuring Mike North from the Score Radio and over 150 cigar afficonados like yourself. If you missed the last one, make sure to ask about their next smoker, scheduled for January 19th.

Scotland Yard
This is a great bar - the architecture here is quite detailed. They claim that the new cigar room was supposed to open the weekend of March 22 (1997) , but here we are and I've heard nothing new about it. When I know for sure, I'll stop by and then offer a full report.
