Pullman Grille

This fine restaurant serves first-rate traditional fare of seafood and prime Black Angus beef. I ate myself into a stupor here, but I was still able to appreciate the amazing woodwork which covers practically the entire place. It's easy to see how the previous owners of this hotel spent it into bankruptcy with the lavish decoration.
Just inside the doors is a small waiting area. Click for a closeup of the beautifully worked door.
Even the ceiling is lovely, with wood surrounded by papered and painted panels. Through the wood pillars at left and center you can see the smokers' car for cigars, desert, and drinks.

This amazing sideboard is inset into the wall opposite the smoking car. The panels obscured by the chandelier hold elaborately carved representations of Aesop's fables. Click for a detail.
A glass humidor case sits before the entrance to the smoking car. The selection is small (this is a restaurant, not a cigar store) but the cigars are very good, including Partagas and Cohiba Red Dot.
The interior of the smoking car has been redecorated to make a very comfortable place to enjoy a cigar with a desert or drink. Every chair is next to a small side table holding an ashtray.
The Pullman Grille is open for special occasions upon arrangement.
