The Creek They have a few micros, plenty of food, and live enertainment 3 or 4
nights a week. They sell some cigars at the bar. It's close to the area
colleges and has a younger crowd.
Mr Dominic's Cigar friendly, sells 6-7 different kinds out of a humidor, Informal,
great food at reasonable prices. The owner is a cigar aficianado. Located
right by Lake Ontario.
Empire Brewing Company They have micro beers brewed on the premisis and pretty good food. They
sell 5-6 cigars (i haven't been there since they opened, maybe more now)
and the bar is cigar friendly. They also have live enertainment on the
weekends.
Harry's Bar and Grill "Happening place", expensive. Dining, jazz club down stairs, cigar
friendly. Downtown.
MacGregor's Grill and Tap Room Very cigar friendly - they have a humidor behind the bar with ~20
different kinds of cigars, from Punch to El rey del Mundos. Prices range
from $2.00 to $6.00 depending on "make & model" (not bad compared to our
retail shops).
They've got 35 beers on tap - micros, English, German, Dutch, etc. A very
good selection that changes as the barrel's run out. Decent selection of
single malt scotches and a few single barrel bourbons and Irish Whiskey.
The food id decent pub fare i.e. 1/2 lb. burgers with fancy trimmings,
salads, Nachos, etc.
Usually a very friendly place to smoke, drink and eat.
They have 2 other places in town but I'm not very familiar with them
(Thye're in the phone book).
Milestones Music (national acts sometimes) - downtown, "the" music place in
Rochester for the younger crowd.
The Old Toad English style pub. Cigar friendly, some micro beers, English food,
Downtown.
The Otter Lodge Pub/resturant, cigar friendly - east side.
Richmond's R&B music - downtown
Salingers Music - downtown
Younger's "East side establishment". Cigar friendly according to the owner of
Paco's. I haven't been there in 8 years - no special reason, I just don't
get to the east side of town much.
