Pipe World maintains a large well-stocked humidor. While there are quite a few brands in short supply (Fuente, LGC, etc) many mainstream brands are present. H. Upman, Macanudo, Dunhill, Punch and Partagas are almost always in stock. Pricing on most cigars is near or at MSRP, which is admirable due to the fact, they are located in a mall. While there is no box discount you have the option of purchasing a VIP membership card for $10 a year which entitles you to a 10% discount on any purchases made. As the name implies Pipe World maintains a large selection of pipes, pipe tobacco and pipe related accessories. In addition to these Pipe World also maintains an extensive collection of lighters and cutters. Pipe World also maintains a good variety (if overpriced) of humidors and ashtrays. Additionally Pipe World is the only place in Northcross Mall where smoking is allowed.
Caveat emptor! The staff at Pipe World has displayed a large range in both knowledge and attitude. Take any recommendations on unknown brands with a grain of salt. Overall this is a decent tobacconist however realize that sometimes you may not be able to find the cigars you want. |
