A comprehensive listing of Houston Area Tobacconists and other retail outlets that carry fine cigars. While we have tried to include all, the nature of business dictates that new shops open regularly. Hopefully, we can stay informed and bring these new locations to you, but if you see we've missed one, please feel free to email us and point us in the right direction. Sometimes, we spend so much time enjoying the fruit of the leaf, we get sidetracked................
We have also attempted to include a short review of what you might find when you walk in the door of these establishments. We wish that it was possible to list these retailers by area, but that would take alot more effort than we are willing to expend while these fine cigars are sitting here in front of us.......so while we herf, you can read......In fairness to the smoker (that's all of us!) and the merchant as well, we believe that price and availability reporting could quickly become a nightmare.........so we leave it up to the consumer to investigate and explore the information we have provided, however, we will critique on variety, service, and general "would I send a friend there-a-bility".

(713)444-2464Located in North Harris County, on FM 1960, near Walters Rd., Lone Star Tobacco sports a large walk-in humidor, a large selection of cigars and cigar accessories, humidors, pipes & pipe tobaccos, and reasonable pricing (per industry standards). The staff is knowledgable and is not "over-powering" when it comes to allowing the customer to browse. Some folks don't like to be bothered while enjoying a humidor, but the new cigar smoker might feel a little lost without a little more attention. If this is the case, make sure you ask for help! At the time of our visit, Fuentes/Romeo y Julietas/Punch/Partagas were in VERY short supply. As with all shops...it's best to call to locate your favorite brand! We will check back with the folks at Lone Star & update the supply situation.........

A littte drive for some, but worth it if you are looking for a nice walk-in humidor with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. The pricing is reasonable on many cigars. They have an excellent supply of bundled cigars at very good prices. (713)351-9344Normally, a discount cigarette shop would not deserve two stars, but if you are in the Tomball area, you must go to Tobacco Mart. Located in the Kroger Shopping Center at the corner of S.H.249 & FM 2920, this little shop boasts the most AMAZING selection of fine cigars. With only a cabinet humidor, they have managed to keep Fuentes, Punch, Henry Clay, and other fine brands on their shelves when the larger stores can't. Their prices are extremely low and the staff is very friendly. Call Robin or Rene' for your cigar needs.
